Don Salvador

From this day forward... I'll promise try my best not to procrastinate and post my every journey right away, Amen.

Once again, Shierra and I decided to take the road up Don Salvador as our next Holy Week Adventure. The road was very scenic, thank God we we're seated at the front of the bus that's why we got to have the full glorifying view of mother nature.

We didn't know which part of Don Salvador we were headed so we just kept an eye on the road and look for a beautiful spot to take photos because that's the main reason why we decided to take the hike up in the first place. Came the waterfalls, Malatan-og Falls as its' known -- and it was ehhh... Why ehhh? well, first, it looks so small I can barely see it, or maybe its' just my eyeglasses fogging up that makes it look blurry.

So, as long as we hopped out the bus, we did not take any minute to take photos. I think we had taken a shot of every corner of the place-- the road, the trees, the flowers, the grass, the stones, the trashes, the poop.. yeah that's how we roll but we don't really mind being like lunatics -- I don't even know how to describe what we are doing.

Exhausted from photo sessions, we stayed at the viewing deck and ate the pizza and snacks we brought. Even while eating we kept on taking photos of each other because,,,,duhh... As we ate, we kept on taking how small the falls is and we decided to take a hike down on the way to the waterfalls to take a closer look because we heard the other visitors taking that you could actually walk down and take a dip in the falls if you want to. Just hire a tour guide but since we are not bounty on the money side we opted on just walking on our own.

Halfway on the way, we had heard the falls breezy sound singing in our ears and we became excited on going down. But the, we met a colleague which happen to had came from the falls and now are on their way up.. She told us we still have an hour to walk, there are snakes on the way, we might lost because it's kinda dark and then behind us four men are walking down too... okay, our nerves are trembling and so, we made up our mind -- we are going back up. We might die if we continue this journey.

Now the horror came.. going up is a total challenge-- my asthma attacked and the way up is a staircase-like road. What to do? What to do?

Continue of course.

Shierra helped me up by just taking very little steps at a time and by and by stopping to take a rest. I think we took an  hour just by going back up but when the way was flat It'll only take 10 minutes of walk.

But the thing is we survived... we had fun and most importantly, we crossed out one bucket list on our holy week go-to list.
